March 9th The Mystic Theatre, Petaluma CA Hey Stiffies, Yes, we have a gig at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma coming up this Friday, March 9th, but let us answer a few of your questions before we go any further. We were not involved in a fatal fishing accident , no one lost any digits in the meat grinder and we have no formal plans to become a Journey cover band but thanks for the inquiries and concern. The damn truth is that we were just wrapping up Molotov Barbeque, our soon to be released album. It's out of our hands now and on it's way to be printed. We want to give a big thanks to Tony Mindell of Avila Records and Gregory Halden of In the Pocket Studios for helping to make this thing happen. We will let you know when we set the date for the cd release party until then, start looking through your recipe boxes because we are getting together a SDC recipe page. March 9th we will be playing with Wayne "the Train" Hancock and Flat Lonesome. We will be heatin' things up in the middle slot and Wayne "the Train" Hancock will be closing the night down with his famous style of hillbilly swing . For more information on the other artists you can check out the McNear's Mystic Theatre website. The doors will open at 8:00 and Flat Lonesome will be kicking things off at 9:00. The new album, Molotov Barbeque, it's just about ready for Tracking for Molotov Barbeque was done at In The Pocket Studio in Forestville,. CA. The new tunes were mixed in January of 2006. Engineer, graphic artist and soon to be famous actor, Oz Fritz was at the board, along with In the Pocket's very own Greg Halden. Stay tuned for updates samples, and maybe even some video from the studio.
